Jiiva and Santhanam to team up again
After the success of Siva Manasula Sakthi, the Tamil comedy that was directed by Rajesh, actor Jiiva reprised quite a few serious roles.
Now, his fans are waiting to see him don a light-hearted avatar again. The David star has joined hands with director Ahmeed for a romantic comedy Endrendrum Punnagai. The good news is that just the way the duo created a laugh riot in SMS, Santhanam and Jiiva act together again, while Trisha dons the female lead role. The casting includes veteran actor Nassar, Vinay Rai and Andrea Jeremiah. Music director Harris Jayaraj went to Turkey to compose some peppy numbers. Talking about the film, Jiiva says, “I’m so glad to work with Ahmeed and the entire team of Endrendrum Punnagai. I’m sure that this movie is going to shape up quite well and audiences are definitely going to be in for a treat.”
One hears that Jiiva, Vinay and Santhanam have been cast as bachelors who choose not to get married to dodge responsibilities.

Vishwaroopam, Alex Pandian, KLTA

As the countdown for welcoming New Year has come down to 3 days, Kollywood movie goers are eager about the 2013 Pongal releases. KT is here with the list of Pongal 2013 Tamil releases, namely Kamal’s Vishwaroopam, Karthi’s Alex Pandian and Santhanam’s KLTA are finalized.

Seeing that Kamal Haasan is keen on screening his magnum opus Vishwaroopam on January 11th, KE Gnanavelraja of Studio Green planned to release Karthi, Anushka, Santhanam, Nikhita Thukral and Sanusha’s Alex Pandian on 12th January, followed by Santhanam’s maiden production Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya starring Powerstar Sreenivasan, Sethu and Vishakha Singh.

Theaters started booking Vishwaroopam, Alex Pandian and KLTA, while other films like Vishal’s Samar and Madha Gaja Raja are in league. It is also expected that if any fourth film is planned for 2013 Pongal release, it will get very less screens.
