After playing a slew of women-centric roles in movies including Nagaram Nidra Pothunna Vela, Mantra, Mangala, Prema Oka Maikam and Rum, Charmee will be seen playing a journalist in Pratighatana (directed by Thammareddy Bharadwaj).The actress says, “I was very excited after listening to the script. I’m confident that my character will be appreciated by all. The story’s backdrop is similar to the scenario currently prevailing in politics, but it is free from controversies.”
