Rajini is one of the greatest actors we have – Sharuk khan
It is common knowledge that the Baadshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan, is a big fan of Superstar Rajinikanth’s and shares a great rap port with him too, one that led to Rajini agreeing to appear in a cameo in SRK’s Ra One. Khan later also launched the audio of the film’s Tamil version in Chennai, with Rajini’s daughter, Soundarya, being part of the event.
More recently, SRK collaborated with rapper Honey Singh for a song, Thalaivar Tribute (Lungi Dance), saying it was a tribute to his long time friend, actor Rajinikanth.
Interestingly, when Honey Singh and T Series’ Bhushan Kumar approached SRK a few days ago with a song dedi cated to veteran actor, Rajinikanth, who has been addressed affectionate ly as Thalaivar, the latter was only too happy to be a part of it. “Who isn’t a fan of `The Rajinikanth’? I had met Honey Singh and Bhushan Kumar five days back and they made me hear the song, titled Thalaivar Tribute (Lungi Dance). I found it very apt for Rajini sir and wanted to be a part of it as a fan of one of the greatest actors we have,“ the B’town actor is said to have remarked. The song is fun, happy and completely Rajinikanth style, he added.
His Chennai Express co-star, Deepika Padukone, who shares screen space with Rajini in Kochadaiyaan, has also shaken a leg in the special number. Sources say that King Khan agreed to be a part of the dedication because its theme is very close to that of Chennai Express. Composed, written and sung by Honey Singh, the song has been choreographed by top choreographer Chinni Prakash

Dhanush is currently on a all-time high after the tremendous response to his Bollywood debut Raanjhnaa and is Mariyaan is expected to be out very soon. Here are some excerpts from Dhanush’s recent interview to Filmfare magazine.
The Experience of Moving to Bollywood :
“Everyone thought Raanjhanaa was a mistake, They said things like, ‘You are a star down South and you have your hands full. Why do you want to take the risk? Hindi films are different. It’s not easy.’ But I wondered, ‘How different could it be?’ People are people and emotions are the same everywhere. If they like a film they’ll like it. There’s nothing more to any industry.”

Do the Stars of the South look down upon Hindi Films ?
“I don’t think that South Indian stars look down upon Hindi films. Probably, they’re just busy doing their work, An actor would love to be in any good film, irrespective of the language. Not to say there aren’t one or two wrong people. They’re stars who are happy in their comfort zone and wouldn’t want to be newcomers again.”

About the Song Kolaveri and The Movie 3 :
“The song gave a different perspective to 3. People thought it would be a funny film. But that’s not an excuse, We’ll have to accept that we failed where the film was concerned. Everyone liked the first half but the second half was a completely different movie. Maybe the film shouldn’t have been so sad and intense,”

Rumors of Link up between You and Shurti Haasan :

On Facing the camera for the first time :
“One day I was getting ready to go to school and my father asked me to come on the set as one of his child actors hadn’t turned up. I started crying. He still took me and there was no looking back. My first girlfriend dumped me. She thought I had no future in the movies. She made a practical decision. I too knew I’d never be a star,”

Chandramukhi 2 to go soon on the Floors

Rajini's Fight Taken Up By Fans
Superstar Rajinikanth and his fan following is hard to describe because
it has no limits. And whatever he says is like a command from god to
them. Recently Rajini celebrated his birthday and addressing his fans at
the YMCA ground in Chennai he came up with a message which has become a
movement.
Rajini revealed how when he was a bus conductor he used to drink and was a chain smoker. He also added that his kidney and lungs got affected by that but after quitting them he has felt a lot better. To end with, Rajini urged all his fans to quit smoking and fight against it.
These words came like direct instructions from the superstar and the fans have reportedly taken it upon their shoulders to carry on an anti-smoking campaign and movement. As part of that, they also set fire to many cigarettes. Let us see how strong this movement will shape into.
