Surya, Linguswamy & Gautham Menon episode

The Surya, Linguswamy & Gautham Menon episode as taken another wild turn. Surya was earlier faced with the dilemma of having to choose between the man who gave his first big break in kollywood in Gautham Menon and a kollywood biggie in Linguswamy. Reports had it that Surya had opted for new combination in Linguswamy and thereby pairing up with Samantha but rumour mill now has it that GVM & Surya have gone on to register their project’s title as “Dhuruva Natchathiram” and shooting would kick off by May. Its important to note that already a movie tilted ‘Dhuruva Natchathiram’ featuring Arjun was released in 1990′s.
This Trizetto saga continues to keep us enthralled , we just have to wait for the official confirmation to know who Surya picks.

A look on Suriya’s upcoming films

Gautam Menon and Lingusamy are waiting for Suriya’s dates. Suriya is now busy with Hari’s Singam 2 in South Africa. He will be back in Chennai by Thursday and will have to take a final call and announce his next film.
These are two directors who claim that Suriya has given the green signal to their projects. Gautham Vasudev Menon who celebrated his 40th birthday on Monday (Feb 25) has confirmed to the trade that he is starting his film with Suriya in April. Gautham by the end of the week is flying to US on location hunting for his proposed Suriya film.
Meanwhile Lingusamy has also confirmed that he is starting his next film with Suriya as the hero, as soon as he completes Singam 2. Lingusamy is fine-tuning his Suriya script at the moment in his ancestral house in Kumbakonam. Lingusamy has also got confirmed dates of Samantha who will be playing the heroine in the film.

Karthi film Paiyaa fetches one crore


Actor Karthi starrer Paiyaa has made one crore out of its remake rights. The film directed by Lingusamy had Tamannaah in the lead and the sparkling chemistry between the two has been a big hit. The film will now be remade in Kannada, Hindi and Bengali. While the Kannada remake will be titled Ajith and will have Chiranjeevi Sarja in the lead, the Bengali remake has already been made with Sonam Chakravarthy and Koel Mullick. With this announcement the speculation about Lingusamy remaking the film in Hindi with Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra has been laid to rest.
