Shruthihassan Huge Fallout with Prabhudeva

Prabhu Deva’s Ramaiya Vastavaiya which is all set to release is actually a remake of Prabhu Deva’s own blockbuster Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. For the past few days K’town has been buzzing with rumors of a fallout between Prabhu Deva and Shruti Haasan after the actress refused to follow the dance steps choreographed by the director and also angrily lashed out against him. Sources also add that Shruti did not even apologize to Prabhu Deva for the sudden break-out who was left to ponder over the attitude of Shruti.

Since the film is now nearing its release date, the promotional activities of the movie are at full swing but Shruti Haasan is no where to be found after the fall-out leaving Prabhu Deva to tag along the second heroine Jacqueline Fernandez in the promotional events.

There are lots of criticisms because Kamal’s daughter Shruthi Haasan has donned the glamorous call girl role in a Hindi film titled D Day. When asked Shruthi Haasan about this, she said, “They are criticizing me be by telling that I have crossed my limitations in glamour. Cinema is a profession.

After taking up acting we should do what the story demands. If I have to act in a swimming dress I have to act. There is nothing wrong in it. There is a comment that I have acted vulgarly in the call girl role. You should see that with an artistic eye. Lots of actresses have acted glamorously in call girl roles. No one has criticized them but they are blaming me. Since I liked the story of D Day, I agreed to act in the role of a call girl.

I can bring out my acting skills only if I act in this film. I am not worried about adverse comments. My whole concentration is on cinema. I will act in films even after I get married and have kids. I will take an oath from my would be husband that he should not prevent me from acting after marriage. Many of the actresses are forcibly prevented from acting after their marriages.

I don’t accept this. Women have come out of their kitchens long time ago. They are earning independently and standing on their own legs. I have faith in God. My favorite God is Muruga. I will go to temples. My father is an atheist. I am living alone in Mumbai.

Shruti Haasan is fast emerging to be one the leading ladies of South Indian Cinema , In a recent interview she opened up to reveal those moments of life which wasn’t very pleasant to say the least. The separation of her parents Kamal and Sarika and her father’s car accident and her mother Sarika’s accident when she slipped on the staircase are few incidents which she considers to be the saddest moments in her life.

Sarika desire for Shruti Haasan

Veteran actress Sarika has expressed her desire for her elder daughter Shruti Haasan. She says “I want to see Shruti win her National Award,”. Commenting about her younger daughter she says “Akshara is just a kid. She is presently assisting directors and making commercials,”

She also stated that she would like to do a role with her daughter Shruthi.

Sarika acted in more than 30 films, including films such as Subhash Ghai’s Vidhaata (1982), but she gave up acting when she married Kamal Hassan during the peak of her career in the late 1980s.

Everybody needs a hit: Shruti Haasan

Shruti Haasan, who is neck deep in work right now, says she couldn’t have had a better start to 2013, “I am busy with three Telugu films, two Hindi films and a Tamil movie. I have a busy and exciting year ahead,” says Shruti, who is currently shooting for Yevadu with Ram Charan. In fact, the actress celebrated her birthday on Monday with the cast and crew of the movie on the sets.

The actress also confirms that she has signed a Harish Shankar movie opposite NTR Jr. The two were supposed to work together earlier, but due of date issues, Shruti had to opt out. “Now, I will finally be working with NTR Jr and I’m excited about teaming up with Harish Shankar again after Gabbar Singh,” she says.

Shruti is also pinning her hopes on her Hindi film, Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya, to make a Bollywood comeback of sorts after a long hiatus. And this one has a good dose of Southern flavour too. “Prabhu Dheva has already made his mark in Bollywood as a director and since I know him well, it is so comfortable to be working with him in this remake of Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana.We have however, made a lot of changes in the Hindi version. I am playing a village girl in this film,” adds Shruti, who is essaying Trisha’s role in the film. The actress also has another Bollywood movie in her kitty — a Nikhil Advani film set against the backdrop of terrorism, starring Arjun Rampal.

“I am working on a Tamil movie too. I love this…being busy and working everyday,” she says. Tell her that after a series of flops, her fortunes changed with one hit and Shruti says, “Yes, everybody needs a hit, but at the same time people have to like my work too. I’m more thankful for the fact that people appreciated my work in every film and I work hard to earn that.”

With her filmi graph going strong, Shruti is keen on focusing on her singing career now. “Music has always been my love and I will be singing a lot more in Tollywood films, apart from writing lyrics too,” reveals the actress, who is busy shuttling between Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai these days. “I live in Mumbai with my mom and sister. And of course, I always consider Chennai as home. But for the last few years, I’ve been practically living in Hyderabad,” says Shruti.
