There are lots of criticisms because Kamal’s daughter Shruthi Haasan has donned the glamorous call girl role in a Hindi film titled D Day. When asked Shruthi Haasan about this, she said, “They are criticizing me be by telling that I have crossed my limitations in glamour. Cinema is a profession.

After taking up acting we should do what the story demands. If I have to act in a swimming dress I have to act. There is nothing wrong in it. There is a comment that I have acted vulgarly in the call girl role. You should see that with an artistic eye. Lots of actresses have acted glamorously in call girl roles. No one has criticized them but they are blaming me. Since I liked the story of D Day, I agreed to act in the role of a call girl.

I can bring out my acting skills only if I act in this film. I am not worried about adverse comments. My whole concentration is on cinema. I will act in films even after I get married and have kids. I will take an oath from my would be husband that he should not prevent me from acting after marriage. Many of the actresses are forcibly prevented from acting after their marriages.

I don’t accept this. Women have come out of their kitchens long time ago. They are earning independently and standing on their own legs. I have faith in God. My favorite God is Muruga. I will go to temples. My father is an atheist. I am living alone in Mumbai.

Amalapaul doing anything to get the chance of Gautham menon Flick

Few days before KT reported Amala Paul tricked Trisha out from Gowtham Menon’s Thuruva Nakshathiram and there by became pair for Suriya.

She was double happy, as she has very recently completed Thalaiva with Vijay and now pairing with Suriya.

Now, a bad news seems to be in waiting for Amala Paul in the form of Samantha.

For some reason, it is said that Gowtham is not happy to go with Amala and he is inclined towards Samantha.

Amala Paul is trying her best to pull Gowtham to her side.

Ajith53 likely to hit the screens on September

Ajith is doing a movie with Vishnu Vardhan for which the team is yet to decide the title.

As of now, perpetually, the movie is called Valai by Ajith’s fans.

For about a year, the shooting and related works were going on, and now officially all the work related to the movie is completed.

Ajith too has started his next name less movie.

Ajith’s fans are angry with Vishnu Vardhan, as, though a teaser is released marking Thala’s birthday, nothing is said about the title on that day or after that.

Vadivelu heroines are threatened

After a gap of 2 years, Vadivelu is acting in a film titled Jagajala Buja Bala Tenali Raman. Vadivelu is donning dual roles in this film.

One of the roles is Tenali Raman while the other is king Krishna Devarayar. Many actresses are pairing with Vadivelu in this film.

20 heroines will be pairing with Krishna Devarayar role. Initially Parvathy Omanakuttan who participated in the Miss World contest was signed for the female lead role.
She had earlier paired with Ajith in the film Billa 2. All of a sudden, she quit this film. Now Meenakshi Dixit is acting in that role.

Vadivelu while speaking about this said, “Initially Parvathy Omanakuttan was signed for the female lead role. All of a sudden, she quit this film.

It is understood that lots of people have warned her that her future would be bleak if she paired with me. Because of this she quit this film. I have already seen these kinds of things earlier. I will not get scared.”

Mohanbabu in Jet Ski Accident

Mohan Babu, veteran actor, a close friend to Rajinikanth, recently suffered injuries when his jet ski capsized, while he was shooting for his forthcoming multistarrer in Bangkok. According to reports, the actor was rehearsing for an action sequence on a jet ski and decided to take his wife along for company. But the machine soon lost control and that’s when the mishap took place. Mohan Babu’s sons, Vishnu and Manoj, who were also present at the spot, immediately came to their parents’ rescue along with the crew. The actor and his wife suffered minor cuts and bruises, and were given medical assistance. The shooting was disrupted for couple of hours. The duo is currently safe and out of danger.

Without Glamour cannot shine anything in cinema – Actress Taapsee

Actress Taapsee made her debut in the Tamil film Aadukalam which had Dhanush in the lead role. She is currently pairing with Lawrence in Muni 3 and with Gopi Chand in a Telugu film titled Sahasam.

She while speaking to the media said, “I like to act in adventurous scenes. Now I have got the opportunity to act in the film Sahasam. Nobody can think of cinema without glamour. At the same time glamour should not become obscene. You can shine only if you have acting with glamour. The film Aadukalam earned me a good name.

I donned a challenging role in that film. These kinds of opportunities are very rare. I got this opportunity in my first film itself. I can be in this field only for 10 years. I will not believe if people say that they can act in the heroine roles till the end. After 10 years, if I don’t get the opportunity to act in films, I will go to an unknown place and live like an ordinary woman.”

Director Ameer Next Heroine

After Yogi, director Ameer is donning the lead role in the film titled Peranbu Konda Periyorgale. This is a political satirical film. Chandran who was earlier an assistant to director Seenu Ramasamy is directing this film.

Ameer’s assistant Adam Bala is producing this film. Efforts were taken to make one of the leading actresses to pair with Ameer but none of them were willing to act with him. Finally it was decided to cast Surveen who had acted in Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal in the female lead role.

This also did not materialize because she was signed for the female lead role in Arjun starrer Jai Hind 2. In the view of the foregoing, actress Mruthiga was signed for the female lead role. Mruthiga is one of the heroines of the film 555 directed by Sasi.
