Rohini was spotted at midnight on the sands of Marina with a host of college students. They were protesting against the Delhi gang rape incident. A section of the protestors walked in procession from Sathyam theatre to Gandhi statue. Protestors were shouting slogans to bring in effective laws to reduce such incidents. They said that they were protesting at midnight because only when a woman can walk on the streets of India at midnight without being disturbed, only then will India attain complete freedom. Protestors shouted slogans that the bill proposed by the Parliament be brought into force immediately and sex education be taught in schools
