Madhubala returns to Kollywood with Balaji Mohan’s film

madhubalaActress Madhoo, who was last seen in Tamil in Mani Ratnam’s 1997-film Iruvar, is now returning to Kollywood with Balaji Mohan’s new film Vaaya Moodi Pesavum. The Roja actress will be seen in the role of a writer in the Tamil-Malayalam bilingual, which stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya Nazim.
The film’s producer Sashikanth confirms, “It is an experimental film and Madhoo was impressed with the role.” However, we hear that she will not be playing the mother to either of the leads and she will share screenspace with Nazriya, as the character she plays is that of the heroine’s relative.
Madhoo is expected to join the film’s shoot, which is currently underway in Munnar, from November 17. Interestingly, the actress had shot with Mammootty for her first Tamil film, Azhagan, at the hill station, and will now be shooting with his son in her comeback film.
