Amitabh Bachchan Greets Ajith Kumar At Centenary Celebrations

South Indian film industry witnessed one of the biggest film events in the history as the bigwigs of Indian cinema graced the four-day event to commemorate the biggest achievements in Indian cinema. The function was kick-started on September 21 at the Jawaharhal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister inaugurated the function along with the yesteryear actresses like Saroja Devi and Simran. On the opening day, 59 legends from Tamil film industry were felicitated by the state government, which granted Rs 10 crores for the function. Actors, technicians, including music composers, directors and others were honoured on the first day. Sivakumar, Jamuna, MN Rajaram, Jayasudha, SS Rajendran, Sowcar Janaki and many others from acting department were bestowed upon with the awards. Also Read: Vijay Insulted At Centenary Function? On the second day, there were performances from the artists from Kannada and Telugu film fraternites. Well, legendary actor Kamal Hassan took away the limelight on the day after making a sensational statement. The Universal Star, addressing Kannada film industry, said that he wants to belong to Sandalwood. He loves Karnataka and he has many friends in the state.
