Angry Thalaivaa Vijay To Boycott Centenary Celebrations!

Illayathalapathy Vijay is not seen much in public after Thalaivaa mess up. The actor was reportedly disappointed after the incidents halted the release of his last movie in Tamil Nadu. Irked by the developments, he is set to boycott the Indian Cinema's Centenary Celebrations, which will be held in Chennai between September 21 and 24. According to sources, Illayathalapathy Vijay is yet to come out from the dark episode. The actor, who had faced similar kind of troubles during his earlier release Kaavalan in 2010, is unhappy and not in a mood to attend the function. Reports say that he is angry because his own people snubbed him during the Thalaivaa release and no men in the industry stood by him when needed. Thalaivaa was banned in Tamil Nadu for some unknown reasons. Though it was not an official ban like Kamal Hassan's Vishwaroopam, theatres in the state backed out from screening after getting a bomb threat letters from a mysterious group. The Tamil movie was released worldwide, but in Vijay's own territory it was delayed. The incident has upset Vijay and he is now ready to show his anger in the form of skipping the event.
