If what we heard from the close source is believed to be true, then Karthi will be playing lead role in director Kannan’s next film tentatively titled as ‘Alangaaram’. The film is reported to be a wholesome entertainer and PVP Cinemas is expected to produce.
Director Kannan’s previous film ‘Settai’ released before a couple of months didn’t perform well in box office and indeed received mixed reviews. The director is now working vigorously on this script keeping his fingers crossed.
Nevertheless, the official confirmation from Karthi is yet to be made. At the moment, the actor is simultaneously shooting for Venkat Prabhu’s Biriyani and director Rajesh’s All in All Azhagu Raja. It was expected that Kannan will be directing the Tamil remake of Maryatha Ramana that stars Santhanam in lead role.
